I agree, those bugs are disgusting. I have a friend that had been using Advantage and her dog was always getting ticks. Then she switched to Advantix and hasn't had any problems. Totally the opposite to you...go figure! Glad you found the little bugger!

Just hope and pray little Gracie does not get a disease from the bite she got. I have heard about Preventic collars containing Amitraz, but also know that this is a strong poison, and it is not recommended for chihuahuas. We love traveling, but this freaks me out, ticks on my babies!
