Hi
Well 3 months is a very young puppy and most are not totally housebroken
that young. You can choose to block him in a large area, making sure the
pads are far from his bed and feeding area and still give him enough room to
romp around. Some people buy the puppy playpens, or you can just set up
gates to block him in. Most puppies sleep all day when no one is around. He
needs to get his built in clock reset as to when it is time to do his
business. Walk him to the pad area when you get up, don't carry him, show
him he is a good boy, feed him, and 10 minutes later walk to the pad area
again. Before you leave for the day, walk him to the pad area again and then
block him in.

At 3 months, he isn't going to be able to hold it in for more then 2-3 hours
unless there is some one around to guide him. Leaving him in a crate for a
full 8-10 hours if you work full time at this age is asking a lot, so
blocking him in works better.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] PEEPAD TRAINING HELP!

Hi there, I recently got a 13 week old Chi named him Bandit. He was doing
extremely well with the peepad training and I felt I could leave him as I go
to work.. Well recently he's been peeing everywhere! Its so frustrating. I
do not want to kennel him all day while away at work but I feel I might just
have to soon.. ANY sugguestions on what to do with him?
