Hi Monica. I am not sure about all the rules and regulations for traveling
from abroad, but I would also be concerned about the possibility of your
chis having to be quarantined, and whether they have to be in cargo or not
for international flights. You can check with airlines from your end, for a
starter. Also google for the ASPCA and USFD they should be able to tell you
what certificates the dogs need to enter the US and whether they have to be
quarantined or not. If they have to be in cargo, then personally I wouldn't
take them if this is just a visit and not for permanent residence here. It
is way to risky putting a dog in cargo with any airline.

I do have one link that tells you of animal incidents, including death of
cargo dogs for each of the airlines. Scroll down to the bottom for this
years static's.
http://www.thirdamendment.com/animals-month-by-month.pdf Delta has had
9 deaths plus 5 injuries so far this year, just as an example as to how
risky it is.

Check this out as well:

All in all, I wish you a happy and safe flight and hope you enjoy your stay
here in the US.
