I love this video!! I watched it twice. They sure are a frisky pair, and neither one will give in to the other. Very amusing little chis!
When dogs howl when you leave them alone it is called 'separation anxiety'. You can google for that and find many different training methods to help them over come it. I have had to teach Gigi not to do that. Princess wasn't a problem with it, however Gigi likes to run back and forth and hop on the chair at the window while she waits, and Princess does nothing but bark at her when she runs. So I am trying to work on that. Not easy when I can't see exactly what they are doing, but only stand outside and listen, and then I yell in the window for Princess to stop and be quiet. Some times it works, other times I hear her start in again when I turn the corner to the parking lot. By the time I start to walk back, she hears me coming and stops. The smarty pants, lol! I am seriously thinking of calling the house phone and leaving the speaker on and telling her to be 'quiet' that way. It worked for another dog that I had once. They freak out and don't understand how I know they are barking, lol! More often I take them with me but if I don't have the possibility they remain at home alone and they start to howl continuosly. My neighbours complain about that and I don't know what to do...any advice? If you want to see my dogs look here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WlKlGvcKzs
