He grew up in St. Louis Missouri and went through many tornados. I think that 
is some of the difference. The hurricane seems to be everywhere for days and 
then no electricity for days or weeks. A tornado is random and jumps around. I 
am sure both are extremely destructive and create devastatio
n everywhere. We lived in what was called tornado alley.
