No, no fireworks around here. However, Labor Day weekend brings back lots
of memories to me. For years, my husband, who was on television, MCed the
local portion of the Jerry Lewis MD Telethon. So to us, Labor Day Weekend
was the MD Telethon. After his death, I received a call from a friend
asking me if I knew that a near by McDonald's had renovated in retro style and
had a large mural size photo of my husband and Ronald McDonald on a wall.
It's still up and my son loves to take his grown daughters (my
granddaughters)
to "see" their Papa at McDonald's. Attached is a photo of my handsome
husband with Ronald McDonald.
