When I got Desi Lou at 8 weeks, he had the same kind of short wide legs. He morphed as he grew - sometimes growing longer, sometimes higher. He is full-grown now, and his paws are probably teh same size as when he was a puppy - but fit a little more with the bigger body; his legs actually got thinner. He was quite a bit obese when I got him. I would love him just the same if he had the short wide legs right now. Jax is definitely a cutie and a keeper.
