Hi Rita,
I had a bird 25 years ago & was terribly allergic. He was a yellow
napped Amazon Parrot. Pierce my grandson has Cystic Fibrosis, so we
can't have birds anymore. We do have a small Canary that is reddish &
sings his heart out every time we sing, or he hears music.
The only monkey who loves the dogs is Disney, he loves to stroke them &
nap with them.
The others love cats.
Tiki is a capuchin, they are often trained to help paralyzed people. In
the old days, Capuchins were often with the Organ Grinders. They are
highly intelligent & trainable.
When the girls get jealous of each other, they both cling to me more.
Presley was raised to be the baby, both with the other primates & her
family of Celebes, and with us humans. I never planned to get Tiki, but
someone who knew monkeys needed to get her, so I did.
Actually I just got a video camera, I'll try to capture some videos. I
just don't want to upset others
by talking about monkeys so much. I hope it's ok.
