there has been a change in the house her human daddy was gone for 4 days while he was in the hospital. maybe she is insecure from that that and the fact its been extra cold. hubby pointed out she always liked to be in somebodys lap. usually not mine. maybe she also senses that i am grieving and decided that i need the extra TLC. dogs are smart that way. she is the first chi i have ever owned so still learning after 2 years. thanks for your feedback!

I am not sure that a Chihuahua ever stops wanting to be cuddled. If this is unusual for her, there may be something that is prompting her wanting to be cuddled. My first guess would be that she is cold; It could also be that she doesn't feel good, so watch her and see if she is walking funny, if she is making loud respiratory sounds, or even if her potty habits have changed. If you don't see anything abnormal except for wanting to cuddle, you may want to take her to the vet to see if there is a physical prblem. My Dolly is almost 5 and she has always wanted to be cuddled.
