My husband's Jack Russell had epilepsy too from a puppy.  When I got him off
all the crapola..table scraps etc that he was feeding him, the seizures were
also at a minimum.  I put and kept him on a strict venison and potato grain
free kibble.  His terrible skin allergies cleared up too..

Subject: [Chihuahuas] epilepsy problems

I rescued 2 chihuahuas 7 years ago, and one of them used to have epilepsy, I
try several things to help him to stop this problem. so I try different types
of food and I got to the result that chicken was the main problem for him. I
totally stop feeding him any kind of food that contains chicken and the
epilepsy problem got to the minimum. He used to have some times 2 or 3 a month,
now he probably gets 1 every 8 months, and very mild ones. Also, rapping him on
a blanket to avoid hitting the floor and talking to him to calm him down is
very helpful.
Hope this is useful for you.
(p.s.) (sorry for the Language mistakes.
