I filled a small baby food jar with witch hazel and 8 drops of eucalyptus oil
for my last small short-haired dachshund. He was allergic to things like flea
collars and flea drops. I put the flea remedy on him with a cotton ball. It
worked really well. Since his skin was sensitive, I didn't want to use too
much eucalyptus since it could burn his skin.

I haven't used any flea remedies on Minnie my almost 10 mo. Pup yet. When I
do, it'll be the witch hazel/eucalyptus remedy and see how well it works.

If they don't go on the dog it couldn't kill them. I didn't use anything for
yrs cuz no fleas and no scratching but once back into fostering dogs from
shelters started seeing fleas. Advantix is the same main ingredient as
Advantage. Skin so soft repels inscects as does Adams flea spray. I like to use
Adams if I am going to show one of my dogs. I don't use the dog parks cuz they
allow aggressive dogs who attack and damage other dogs.

K9Advantix wards off fleas and ticks, so they don't go on the dog. Used it for
years on Princess and have never seen one flea.

If you have an infestation you must spray the environment first. All the fleas
stuff require a flea to either land on the dog..or cat...or bite them before
killing them. So you will kill the ones who land on them but if you go to a dog
park or have tons of fleas new ones just hop on.

I have seen this before, and heard from several people that it does kill fleas,
but it doesn't prevent them from going on the dog to begin with. Some said they
had to spray there dogs daily to keep the fleas off.

Use spray bottle to apply.
