K9Advantix wards off fleas and ticks, so they don't go on the dog. Used it for years on Princess and have never seen one flea.

All the fleas stuff require a flea to either land on the dog..or cat...or bite them before killing them. So you will kill the ones who land on them but if you go to a dog park or have tons of fleas new ones just hop on. I did run across an all Natural Flea & Tick Remedy. Have not tried it yet but here if is....... 8oz.
