Loved seeing pics of your babies again. Monte sure does have those cute deer legs! Rescues do make the best buddies ever!

Unfortunately Chihuahuas are the second highest breed to be euthanized in shelters and Florida where I live is overflowing with them. Monte is only 4yrs old, 4.5 lbs, housebroken, very outgoing and social with kids, dogs and people plus got his CGC with 7 weeks of training and first place in his class for his drug sniffing trick. But he was going to be dead in 2 days nonetheless when my g/f and I went to the shelter to look at another dog. So I adopted him, on sale for $50..lol... and when he proved to be such a great dog and Alice's playmate decided he could stay.
