I got one at a garage sale. The boys didn't mind it at  first then they 
started putting up a fuss. I didn't use the plastic head it  would have been 
one more step getting their nail inside the opening and it would  have 
aggravated them even more. I use little cat nail scissors. I often  just take 
them 
to the groomer. It's $5 to do nails and they  dogs  don't even blink..no 
fuss, nothing. It always amazes me because when I do it  there's a major war 
going on.
