Yes, one of my MinPins choked on a banana and only cuz I did a doggy Heimlich was he alright and Brutus another greedy blk MinPin had rawhide stuck and passed out. I could not dig it out so had to push it down his throat and restart his breathing. He also choked on a chunk of canned so he eats far away from the crowd and gets chopped food. I had a soft banana and the rest got squishy chunks and he got small squishy smears.

I gave my lil pup some food tonight, let it sit in warm water to soften a bit but as she was eating it she appeared to be choking. I actually grabbed and turned her with her head downward and patted her back, like an infant. Ok, so I panicked! She is fine now. I added more water and waited longer for the food to soften more then broke it up with a fork. She ate just fine
