almost all electronic component manufacturers offer datasheet and information about their products - online and free. This will not allow you to unbiasedly compare products from different competitors, but the quality of the data in general is very high. In order to get an overview over the manufacturer's web addresses you should have a look at the list at the ChipDir website.
