Sorry Delcan,
I have tried to run a PIC on low frequencies yet,
have checked the PICLIST or the Microchip discussion forum, there are tons of
experts on just PICs.

Cheers

I am having weirdness from a a pic 16f877 running at 32khz. It refuses to
operate the a/d on anything except internal oscillator, and the readings are
haywire. I got the code sorted, and had one here giving believeable readings
(I'm only using one channel, and can check the sense of a reading handily).

It's reading temprature & displaying it. In every 10 seconds, it reads on
7.5, 8.5, & 9.5 secs, and displays the result (of the 7.5 sec reading) on 8
secs, and the result of the 8.5 sec reading on 9 secs. It went out perfect -
reading well, and freezing when I froze the temprature sensor, going up when
I heated it. Now it's staying on 15 degrees whatever the temprature :-o.
Another one doubles the reading, (7 degrees, 15 degrees) which bears no
relation to the input. The input, & reference voltage, are stable & correct.
I have pics on order, but has anyone had problems with this frequency?
