Hey Friedel!
What are friends for? I have a datasheet for the ta8000s, and small
quantities(!). It's a watchdog/supervisory chip and 5V regulator, usually
using an external pnp transistor. I bought some through a broker a few
years back.
Have you lost the 5V? Is it reset or resetting? If the answer to both is no,
it's probably ok.
