Hey Group,
I have a short list I got when I worked at SONY, that shows generic numbers (2SA, 2SB, 2SC, 2SD) for the 3 letter codes found on Japanese SOT23 type S.M.D. chip transistors. (If anyone is interested you can have a copy).
What's not on that list and what i'm looking for, is a 5 lead SOT23 type dual transistor with a common emmiter. A base, 1 lead for the common emmiters then the other base on one side and 2 collectors on the other side.
Does anyone have a list of manufacturers of components of this type, a method of crossing them, or a sub.

Thanks

Jim

Hello Group,
I have exausted all of my extensive resources in search for a Motorola MJE720 transistor in a TO-126 case for a 400 watt per channel BGW 750C power amp. I am having absolutely NO luck finding any info on it.
Does ANYONE have a source or as a LAST resort a legitimate sub.
It is functioning as the bias transistor with 300 volt MJE340 and MJE350 complimentary devices as pre-drivers in the same case style which I had no trouble obtaining data for.
Any info would be appreciated.

In an old transistor database I find:

MJE 720 NPN
VCEmax=40V
VCBmax=40V
VEBmax=5V
ICmax =1.5A
Ptot 2W (is this an error in the database? The first replacement is a 20W type)
hfe>=40
Hfe bias=0.15A (so hFE=10 ?; can we trust this data?)
first replacement BD169
second replacement 2N4923

           /-------\
connection [ E  C  B ]

The ON semiconductor site suggests as direct replacement the 2N4921

you can even ask for a sample..
