The problem is that trying to cure the world usually doesn't work and gets one frustrated (Don Quichote? ;-). Curing the world one person at a time surely doesn't work (unless they are relatives or friends that can appreciate it and pay it back in love and admiration and such yukky stuff). Otherwise it's just wasted time, because: - People tend to deny that they are causing a problem and when they admit it, they blame others, like the PC or all men who made computers possible (women!) - Once people have such a virus their computer is in a very instable state, so it's very unlikely that your email, describing their problems in detail (which costs you more than half-an-hour), will likely not even arive, before someone decides to erase the whole harddisk and reinstall Windows. - And generally it takes people who appreciate computers to appreciate help with it. So why bother helping individual strangers...
