I know that Tektronix TM500 modules can be used in TM5000 mainframes. But the literature says you cannot use TM5000 modules in TM500 mainframes. The problem seems to be the connector for the data buss. If you don't care about the data buss, can you make the TM5000 modules work in the TM500 mainframes? Perhaps by changing a connector or something else simple, but reversible?
