But don't you think the manufacturer would have come up with that? ;-) I need it to be BIPOLAR 5 volts with ground common to the input ground. You better have another look at the datasheet. Jim << Ahh! You meant +/- 5V. Silly me.
In that case you could use a 78L05/LT1054 combo or the LT1945 boost/inverter.
The first choice is simpler to put together, but the LT1054 needs extra room for good tantalum caps.
The second choice is a little more complicated because you need additional resistors to set both outputs, but it gives you up to 300mA on each rail.
