I sense a lack of imagination being exercised. To illustrate: Elektor
once did an egg timer with 3 cmos chips which used 2 or 3 oscillators to
produce a couple of short bursts of one frequency, and then a longer
burst of a different one, giving a very believeable "BUK BUK BUK
BWAAAWK!" like a real live hen. Invent.
