Well, not intentional, my mailer is set to plaintext but as I see as soon as I format 
text 
it will make HTML out of it.

it�s one of three motors in an optional duplex unit for a HP 4 M+ so it�s NOT the OS.

Before I search for a new motor I would try the driver chip.

No mechanical problem like dry lubrication gears with increased friction etc.

So the driver chip is my first guess, if it�s not I will change the stepper.
