I'd like a handle on that famous japanese databook collection if it
doesn't cost an arm and a leg... Have you a url for it?

Drats! I was codded by this small board then.
It had one wide track to pin 4, and another to pin 11, and I took them
for + and - but in fact they were + and +!
Evidently, the 2 comparators are separately powered, and the board was
only powering one (The other must powered off board). So I confused
myself totally by looking up the legs with an analogue signature
analyser, no knowing I only had half the chip earthed :-/. It read
remarkably symmetrically. Anyhow, it is fortunately returned and the
fault found elsewhere.
