Just to let you know that I did a quick Google on UPD5201G and the part does indeed exist. Most of the hits point to Asian parts brokers and very few even bother describing it. It is made by NEC and on one of its flavors it comes on a SOP16 package. Judging for the date codes, this part began its run in the mid 80's and is no longer manufactured but is still available.
Check with NEC for datasheets. Good luck there. Japanese manufacturers are notorious for not maintaining datasheets for older parts.

If it is a uPD5201 then it is a quad SPST CMOS switch.
I do have a datasheet (partly japanese) but no working scanner here.
