I'm no C expert but the PIC doesn't fit into every C compilers, and the
linux C compiler was a completely rewritten thing. The instruction
structure (various numbers of bits per instruction for different
devices) is of itself messy.
Our friend is not coming forward with an innocent explanation, so we
must presume he is reverse engineering, and too lazy to learn
Assembler. Mind you, if he was trying to follow my code, he'd come up
with some questions all right :-/.
What I'd like to know is how he got past the security bit on the config
word...
