The "Domestic Data Bus" has been developed by Philips and Matsushita. Later
it has been renamed to "Domestic Digital Bus". Its specification may be
found in IEC 61030 "Audio, video and audiovisual systems - Domestic Digital
Bus (D2B)" and IEC 61030 Amendment 1. These standards are not free, however,
and I was unable to locate any copies of them.

IEC 61030 may be bought at IEC's web store
<http://domino.iec.ch/webstore/webstore.nsf/$$search?openform>
for CHF 219 (plus CHF 54 for the amendment) --- about USD 210 :-(

The table of contents is available at

Regards,
Stefan
