No, luckily the prolific cable I bought worked with the latest driver. I also have a couple cables that need the old driver. It's not that big of a deal really
With the FT2900 there is interaction needed with the radio using clone mode on the 2900 to get it to manually send data and get in the mode to receive data. Dennis M.
