I read here: http://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_Drivers.php that I need to use an old version of the USB driver to work with the Prolific chip set that I have in my cable. That web page gives details on what to do for Windows, but I couldn't find anything for Ubuntu.
Does anyone know how to make sure I am using the correct driver for Ubuntu 16.04, and how to get the correct driver if it isn't? Thanks Kheong.
