Issue 1613: Omnibar search not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to omnibar after visiting a search engine ie google
2. type google and press tab
3. autocompletes to "google.com/"
What is the expected result?
should put the omnibar into search google mode
What happens instead?
autocompletes to google's URL

possible.
