Issue 444: Pressing ALT-TAB cancels tab dragging session

Ben, there are two behaviors of Windows dragging that greatly help users
who like to have
their applications maximized. One is the fact that you can press Alt-Tab
and your dragging
session doesn't end (try grabbing something off your desktop and press
Alt-Tab, it doesn't
end the dragging). The other is the fact that while dragging you are
supposed to be able to
hover your mouse over items in the task bar and the hover causes Windows to
switch to the
application you hover over (after a small delay).
Chrome tab dragging breaks both of those behaviors. I realize you can't
just drop tabs into
any application on Windows, but between two Chrome windows this can be very
useful. Can we
reconsider the WontFix?
