Issue 1998: When I type Z, I get Y, and vice versa http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1998
Comment #1 by bryanje414: Mark was able to identify the issue. It is a MS language setting started from pressing a hot key combination. Here is how to recreate (from Mark): "This is probably an instance of accidental Alt+LeftShift changing the input language. Didn't we find that some gWindows installs came preconfigured with language switching on and that a stray Alt+LeftShift would silently change your keyboard to Czech?" Here is a way to turn off the hot key (from Mark) You can change preferences deep in the Regional and Language Options control panel. Languages tab > details... > Key Settings... > Change Key Sequence... then uncheck the boxes. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
