I can't repro this in XP SP2 (though I've small limitation with this
behavior, which
is described below).
Do you have any specific link of the image, where you can't able to save
the images
to networked mapped drives ? Btw what is system environment ?
Use case1:
If I map a network drive along with the destination folder (eg: \\IP
Address\fooFolder) to I:, then the limitation is, In "downloads" page the
link "Show
In folder" does not opens up the networked mapped folder. Apart from that,
every
thing works for me (i.e image is saved to n/w mapped drive, I can open up
the image).
Use case2:
If I map a network PC only (eg: \\IP Address) to I:, then save the image in
\\IP
Address\Foo, then every thing works fine for me. Even I don't see the
usecase1
limitation also.
