Issue 4300: New Yahoo Mail shows wrong font
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=4300
Comment #6 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
Yahoo mail has an option to select the font used for plain text,
if "Symbol" font is
selected there, when an incoming email is original wrote in "Plain Text"
mode, the
English text will be rendered using "Symbol" font (looks like Greek).
So, 007brinkeguthrie, can you please check what font is selected for plain
text of
your Yahoo account? It is under "Mail Options->General" page.
If this is the case, I think it works as intended, however, with "Symbol"
font
selected, Chrome and IE7 do use Symbol font but Firefox and Safari don't.
Please refer picture attached.
