I've gone with holding mouse over a window for 750ms moving the window to
front. I
would have liked to do holding the mouse over the taskbar to move window to
front as
well, but this would require serious hacking, which I'm not inclined to do
now.
I'm marking as fixed. If folks feel strongly that holding mouse over
taskbar should
move to front as well, please file another bug.
