New issue 5493 by kaacper: PHPBB forum bug (selective quote) http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5493 Chrome Version : 1.0.154.36 URLs (if applicable) : wegedzieciak.pl (forum - requires free registration; in Polish language only) Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: Not tested Firefox 3: OK IE 7: OK What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Log in to the forum; 2. Go to any thread; 3. Mark any text from an existing message; 4. Click "Cytuj selektywnie" ('quote the selection', the small button between "Ignoruj" and "Cytuj"); What is the expected result? The selected text is copied as a 'quote' into the reply field. What happens instead? An alert is displayed, "Zaznacz najpierw tekst" ('select text first'), and the selected text is NOT copied. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. Wegedzieciak.pl is essentially a familiar PHPBB-based forum so I suppose the bug should affect all the PHPB-based forums where the selective quote function is enabled. Unfortunately, wegedzieciak.pl is in the Polish language only and I have no time or energy to test out other forums.
