Comment #2 on issue 6379 by [email protected]: Word Selection Is Not As
Expected
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6379
For "foo bar baz(blah) some-thing else" in a text field of a page:
1. put cursor before "f" of "foo" and then press Ctrl+Shift+Right,
"foo " will be selected in Firefox
"foo" will be selected in Chrome/Safari/IE
2. put cursor before "a" of "baz" and then press Ctrl+Shift+Right,
"az(" will be selected in Firefox
"az" will be selected in Chrome/Safari/IE
3. put cursor before "s" of "some-thing" and then press Ctrl+Shift+Right,
"some-" will be selected in Firefox
"some" will be selected in Chrome/Safari/IE
Since the behaviors are same in three major browsers, this should not be a
bug of
Chrome.
close it tentatively, [email protected], feel free to post your
comment if you
still have different opinion.
