As far as I can remember, the reason we created the custom home pages control with LTR directionality is because of some URL rendering problems. It looks like we should change it, especially now that the Bookmark Manager displays bookmarks such that the URLs are right aligned and the favicon appears to the right of the URL (not to its left).
