Comment #4 on issue 7559 by stolsvik: All pdf links yield "Could not launch Acrobat" warning-dialog upon click. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=7559
When hitting "Remove" in "Add or Remove Programs", the windows installer came up again, doing a series of countdowns, using quite some time on the last round, and then just exited, having taken away the entry in the Add or Remove Programs list. By simply reloading the about:plugins in Firefox, it disappeared. In Chrome, this did not happen. I restarted Chrome, and it is now gone. Now, when clicking on a PDF link in Chrome, Chrome just downloads it, not launching anything afterwards - just as I mentioned JNLP files does. When clicking it in Firefox, it downloads it normally, then fires up Foxit. Thus, the problem is pretty much gone now, although I'd like it if Foxit launched, and also the java launcher for jnlp files. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
