New issue 7724 by [email protected]: No cursor in Edit Bookmarks text boxes
+ additional issues
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=7724

Chrome Version : 2.0.160.0
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
      Safari 3: OK
     Firefox 3: OK
          IE 6: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Right-click on a bookmark, select Edit...
2. Click in the Name: or URL: text boxes

What is the expected result?

A vertical line cursor appears, so I know that the application is working
and text I type will appear where the cursor is.

What happens instead?

Nothing.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

This may or may not be the same issue as Issue 7723 (no cursor in History).

It's even more of a usability issue here, because you often want to change
existing text in this box, so you need to know where the cursor is.

Other operations in these text boxes also don't work as expected:
   - clicking within a word doesn't put the focus there, it's still at the
beginning of the line or wherever you left off typing.
   - clicking and dragging doesn't select text.
   - if you select text with shift + arrow keys, the selected text isn't
highlighted.
