Comment #2 on issue 7502 by ton.kalker: Task Manager off screen http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=7502
Hi Venkat, this is not what I meant. The problem is in two phases. In the first phase my laptop is docked and uses a large display. I pop up the task manager, and put it in say the lower left corner. I then exit Chrome, put my laptop in standby mode and undock. In the second phase, I wake up my laptop in stand alone mode, using the smaller laptop screen. This time when I pop up the task manager, its window is not visible. Task manager is running though (it shows up in the windows task manager as a process, and it shows up in the taskbar). When clicking the task manager on the taskbar, the edge of the task manager briefly flashes, hinting that the task manager is hiding just under the bottom of my screen. Somehow, in the second phase the position of the task manager in the first phase is remembered and retained; however that first phase position is no longer visible. Hope this helps.
