Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 8310 by BeachElias: Chromium does not check the real path of desktop location for windows xp http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8310
This causes that the action for creating a shortcut on desktop creates a shortcut in the supposed default path. To prevent this, Chromium needs to check, if the path to desktop is possibly differing from default path. And if so, the real path should be used, to make the shortcut visible on desktop. Maybe this explains some more problems with undiscoverable objects, which should have been created by chromium. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
