Comment #2 on issue 8310 by BeachElias: Chromium does not check the real path of desktop location for windows xp http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8310
For testing I suppose following: 1. change the default path of the desktop with the windows tool "tweakui". 2. press CTRL + M and create a new profile and agree to "create a shortcut on desktop". 3. check out, in which folder the shortcut has been created What is the expected result: the shortcut should be located in the real path to the desktop and therefore be visible on desktop. What happens instead: the shortcut is not visible on desktop but in the default directory for your windows xp desktop. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
