I am having a similar issue. I have Windows XP family edition SP3 running on an emachine T3106. My firewall is provided by my ISP (Videotron Security Services), I think the software is provided by Radialpoint. I have never had a similar problem with any other software before. I have added rules to authorize chrome.exe, GoogleUpdaterService.exe and GoogleUpdate.exe to access the Internet without restriction, but the firewall keeps asking for authorization.
