New issue 8695 by theodorejb: Download troubles
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8695

Chrome Version : 2.0.169.0
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
      Safari 3:
     Firefox 3: OK
          IE 7:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download any file
2. Go to download tab (ctrl-J)
3. Try to figure out how fast its downloading
4. Try to restart a download after clicking cancel
5. Try to cancel a download that's paused
6. Try to remove a download from the list
7. Try to find the page you downloaded the file from

What is the expected result?
Should say "<file name> x% at <whatever> KB/s".

What happens instead?
Says "<file name> x% at <xxxxxx>".

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
<xxxxxx> what? KB/s? Kb/s? Bytes/s? Bits/s? Mb/s? MB/s? It needs to say the
measurement it's using, preferably in KB/s.

Also, there's no indication in the download TAB that anything's happening.
What
happened to the spinner that was in the stable release?

Also, you should be able to restart a download that's been canceled like
you can in
Firefox.

You should be able to cancel downloads that are paused (without having to
resume
them first).

Also, you should be able to right-click a download and select "Copy
download link"
(like in Firefox) or maybe "Go to download page" (would open the page you
downloaded
the file from in a new tab). Currently, it just shows the link below the
downloaded
file, and if the link is long, it gets cut off - making it useless.

Also, you should be able to remove downloads from the list like you can do
in the
stable version of Chrome.

If anyone can think of anything else, mention it in the comments.
