Comment #19 on issue 406 by Jason.Strese: Downloading is troublesome; incomplete files, broken pause http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=406
I haven't been able to reproduce #17's issue, but I can relate to his frustration. Sometimes when I go to download a file, it just refuses to download. So I end up closing and re-opening the tab (unaware of this actually affecting it, this more like a "good luck" move) to try to re-download the file.. I've also another complaint: even if you don't accept the file download (when it's an executable), it still downloads! This should not happen. Perhaps pause the download until I click accept? Also in the more recent versions of Chrome, I've had Chrome to not take away ".download" from the downloaded file, so I have to manually add the extension. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
