For me, close to 50% of downloads don't start. I have to cancel them and re-click the link. Once the transfer gets started, things seem to be okay. Maybe I need to fire up Wireshark and see what's actually going on the wire. "I've also another complaint: even if you don't accept the file download (when it's an executable), it still downloads! This should not happen. Perhaps pause the download until I click accept?" I like this functionality. If I get distracted and forget to click Save right away, I didn't waste any time since the download started in the background.
