Ben tells me that there's a Temporary Internet Files folder that supposedly
gets
cleared up "at some point" (either by the system, or by IE, or by user
action). I'm
fine with putting the files in there, it seems like the expected behavior
on Windows.
Is there a similar mechanism on other platforms? If not, I suppose we'd
have to
handle this on our own, so we might as well implement the algorithm
described above.
