Comment #12 on issue 13588 by [email protected]: Google search results
garbled in Chrome Beta and Dev versions
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=13588

The common element appears to be Vodaphone. Other reports specifically
suggest it is
"Vodaphone (UK) Mobile Broadband." Can you confirm that is the carrier
that is
fcilitating the problem in concert with Chromium?

Does your system automatically transition from one provider to the other
(when you
come home), and make it a little harder to detect which is causing the
problem?

A work-around mentioned above "-enable-sdch=nowhere" should definitely stop
the
problem. I have a fix going into Chrome to work-around what Vodaphone's
proxy
appears to be doing.

I'm going to mark this bug as a dup of
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=13606
and I have more info there.

I'd still appreciate any more info you can add about which ISP is active
when you
have the problem, so that I can be sure I'm addressing the issue.

Thanks again,

Jim
